I personally have less experience with this platform as I use the website rather than the app, however I have noticed that a lot of creators have switched over to Tapas from WEBTOON as they enjoy the platform and audience more. This may be due to the nature of their comics being more mature in tone and themes, and the fact that Tapas has a whole mature section which caters to this. When inspecting the difference in audience for both platforms, this article notes the large difference in audience base.
